Al Kharid
With two different ways to enter it (from the north and from the west Lumbridge) Al Kharid is a desert area joining to Deamonheim which is an area in the wilderness that is the birthplace to dungeoneering, through the Shantay Pass into a couple of different places although needing water in pouches and special suits, and Lumbridge-the starting place for runescapers. This place is ideal for crafting, melee training, smelting, mining, duel arenaing, mage training, and fire runecrafting. You can also buy burritoes for 1gp which heal randomly. This is the closest tanner to cowhides and the best one for F2P. The multipurpose place is possibly the best place in runescape. Having links to a place which would take ages to walk or to teleport and walk to overall, Al Kharid is versatile being a huge recommendation to train and base most of your charecter on.
