The world of Runescape has become overcrowded with high leveled and scary monsters. But when you know how to fight them, and you know the valuables that they can drop, Monster hunting isn't so scary anymore. In this guide, we have listed the mightiest and most feared monsters in the land of runescape, and how to defeat them!
Armadyl's Eyrie
Location: Armadyl Godwars Difficulty: 8/10 Levels required: 80+ Ranged 75+ Defence 70+ Prayer
Equipment: Rune crossbow, Ruby & Diamond enchanted bolts Verac's helm, Ruby, Amulet of Fury, Armadyl chestplate, Verac's plateskirt, Dragonfire shield, Ava's accumulator, Ranger boots and Barrows gloves. Inventory: Teleport, Summoning pouches, 9 Super restores, 17 Saradomin brews. Strategy: Always have the best Prayer Protection on, depending on who you're fighting. Use Ruby enchanted bolts for the first half of Kree'arra then switch to Diamond bolts, or just use Diamond throughout. Start off by killing Wingman Skree (Magic), then Flockleader Geerin (Ranged), then finally Flight Kilisa (Melee). Pray Ranged before Kree'arra, the first attack can be deadly. Always go with a group and expect death to be a possibilty at all times.
Bandos's Stronghold
Location: Bandos Godwars Difficulty: 9/10 Levels required: 70+ Attack 70+ Strength 70+ Defence 70+ Prayer Equipment: Godsword or Abyssal whip, Helm of Neitzinot, Amulet of Fury, Bados chestplate, Bandos Tassets, Rune defender, Fire cape, Dragon boots, Barrows gloves and a Berserker ring (i). Inventory: 8 Prayer potions, 2 Super attack and strength potions, Hammer, Teleport, Summoning pouches and Sharks. Strategy: Always go with a group. Use Protect from Ranged while General Graardor is alive. After killing Graardor, kill Steelwill (Magic), then Gimpspike (Ranged), then Strongsack (Melee), always praying appropriately. Now General Graardor should spawn on the south-east side. Eat and drink your potions if you need to before you finish off General Graardor! Expect death to be a possibility at all times.
Chaos Elemental
Location: Level 50 Wilderness Levels required: 80+ Ranged 70+ Magic 70+ Defence 70+ Prayer Equipment: Archer helm, Amulet of Fury, Ava's Accumulator, Ruby and/or Diamond bolts (e), Karil's Leathertop, Karil's Leatherskirt, Rune crossbow, Unholy book, Barrows gloves, Snakeskin boots, Archer ring. Inventory: Games Necklace, Forinthry Bracelet, Terrorbird or Wortoise Pouches, Ranging potions, Prayer potions and Sharks. Strategy: The Chaos Elemental uses 3 different attacks, one being a prayer penentrating magic/ranged projectile, which can hit up to 28 damage. The other two are the Green and the Red Orb attacks. The Green Orb attack unequips some of the items you are weilding, it will not do so if you have free inventory space. The Red Orb attack teleports you to a random location around the Chaos Elemental. When attacking the Chaos Elemental, always keep Protect from Magic, Auto Retaliate and Protect Items on. Range half of the beast using Ruby bolts (e) then the other half using Diamond bolts (e). Always watch your health,even the strongest of players can be lead to a quick death! Use this strategy, always take a group with you and the Chaos Elemental should be dead in no time! Expect death to be a possibility at all times.
